THE MAD GATE

Aspiring Adventurer, Eon, joins the world’s strongest adventurers to take on an ominous dungeon: The Mad Gate. After slaying inhuman monstrosities, they find themselves at the hands of an insane, sadistic deity.

When The Mad God demands that the adventurers sacrifice one of their own, the choice is clear: kill Eon for the sake of humanity. However, after awakening in the void in the presence of the Mad God himself, it’s clear that there was more to this challenge than at first glance. The Mad God tells Eon that by dying, he has passed the test, and he can become the next Champion of the Mad God.

The Mad Gate explores themes of loss of innocence, revenge, and idolizing heroes. When loyalties are questioned, who is it that Eon can truly rely upon? Can trust be built on power? Fear? Love?

Kay, the ephemeral watchful eye of the Mad God, instructs Eon that his powers may grow in time. In addition to learning more techniques as he slays men and beasts, he can choose to give into the madness. Once his “Madness Meter” is full, Eon takes on a form only granted to the champions of The Mad God to wreak havoc and destruction.
