When squabbling sisters Gabby and Greta Grimm move to a new town, their biggest worry is sharing a room – until someone steals their dragon eggs!

After the recent loss of their mother, the Grimm family leaves their old life to open a pet shop with a paranormal twist. Instead of chubby hamsters and googly-eyed goldfish, you’re more likely to find howling werewolf puppies and grouchy griffins at the Little Monster Pet Store.

Things seem to be looking up when Gabby and Greta’s dad secures three precious dragon eggs to attract customers on opening day. But when thieves get their grubby hands on the eggs, any hope of a new beginning is lost.

Determined to fix things for their dad, Gabby and Greta must put their differences aside and track down the thieves before their new start is snatched from them. Time is running out though, and the dragon eggs are about to be sold to the highest bidder…

Little Monster Pet Store® - Full Moon Rising

Things are busy at the Little Monster Pet Store after a litter of gorgeous yet boisterous werewolf puppies arrives. The adorable fuzzballs are pretty easy to take care of and are full of fun and mischief. There's just one rule: don't let them out during a full moon.

When the fated night arrives, Gabby and Greta are fully prepared and secure them in crates for when the change happens. As soon as the moonlight touches them, the pups grow massive, get over-excited, and all of their training flies out the window.

Unfortunately, thieves Becca and Brice Beetle know nothing about these legendary pooches and attempt to steal them at the worst possible time. 

With a rambunctious pack of werewolves running wild and wreaking havoc throughout town, Gabby and Greta must come together to contain the situation before the werewolves unknowingly hurt themselves and others.

Little Monster Pet Store® - The Great Unicorn Race

The annual Great Unicorn Race finally arrives, and no one is more excited than Gabby Grimm. She's always dreamed of competing and finally gets the chance when a dashing pink-haired unicorn named Nico trots into the Little Monster Pet Store.

Greta Grimm would rather stay home and play video games, but their dad makes her attend to cheer Gabby on and help him with the store's pop-up stall.

Many pairs have entered the contest, but Gabby is hopeful she and Nico can win first place—until the Beetle twins arrive. Wanting to snatch a unicorn of their own, the twins trap Gabby during the race and attempt to steal Nico.

Things don't go according to plan, and the twins' botched attempt turns dangerous when all the contestants are thrown off the racetrack into unexpected peril, leaving only Greta and a stubborn old donkey to save the day.

When their dad gets excited over a pile of ashes, Gabby and Greta don't see the big deal. Until a small head pops out, and the girls realize a phoenix named Ember is visiting the Little Monster Pet Store!

As rare as they are beautiful, rumor has it these magnificent birds have lucky feathers. Feathers that many would pay a lot of money to own.

When the Beetle twins learn of Ember, they hatch a plan with an evil gang of poachers to steal her. Gabby and Greta try to stop them but end up captured too.

When help comes from the most unexpected place, the girls discover the heartbreaking reason why the Beetle twins have tried to kidnap so many of the store's magical creatures, leaving the sisters faced with a tough decision.

Little Monster Pet Store® - The Grouchy Griffin

When word of a dangerous creature comes from the next town over, Gabby, Greta, and their dad close the Little Monster Pet Store for the day and go to investigate.

Instead of a scary monster, they find a single griffin named Gus alone inside a large nest with no mom or siblings. The poor baby is terrified and won't let anyone get near before pecking at them and flying away. Even worse, it's hurt its wing and can't go very far before needing to land.

With everyone else too scared of Gus, the Grimm family set off to find him, but evil poachers find him first. They steal the griffin and lock him inside their hideout.

Unable to get inside on their own, Gabby and Greta call in a favor from some old enemies to help break in and rescue Gus before the poachers sell him.

Ambition: To become a vet so I can help all the poor little monsters who fall sick.

Name: Greta Griselda Grimm

Nickname: Nicknames are so lame. My big sister has one.

Favorite color: Black

Favorite monster: My zombie cat, Chuck (he used up all his nine lives).

Loves: Blasting rock music at full volume, awesome video games, and devouring adventure novels

Hates: Sharing a room with my sister, Gabby. There’s pink everywhere …

Strengths: Making the best and most gruesome Halloween costumes, pulling pranks, and annoying Gabby

Weaknesses: None

Ambition: I’m going to be an explorer, searching for hidden beasts like Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster!

Secret: Nice try. If I told you, it wouldn’t be a secret.

MEET GRETA

Sapphire - the Dragon

Sapphire and her siblings, Emerald and Morgaroth, were the first little monsters to arrive at the shop. They came unhatched in their beautiful eggs with brightly colored scales, and Gabby and Greta made sure to keep them extra warm.

Sapphire is sweet and sassy in equal measure and is not afraid to breathe fire when necessary!

Meesha - the Werewolf

Meesha and the rest of her litter came howling into the store full of fun and mischief. Running around after the little werewolf puppies wasn’t easy, but Gabby and Greta had such a blast playing with them all.

You might be fooled into thinking werewolves are like dogs, but Meesha and her siblings are far from it once the full moon comes out!

Ember - the Phoenix

When their dad got all excited over a pile of ashes, Gabby and Greta didn’t see what the big deal was. Until Ember rose her little head out from them and they realized they had a phoenix at the store!

Majestic and playful, Ember proved to be a loyal friend when the girls needed her most.

Gus - the Griffin

When called out to help a nearby town deal with a dangerous griffin, Gabby and Greta were a little afraid. But Gus wasn’t bad; he was hurt!

After gaining his trust, the girls whisked him to the vet to get treatment. After some medicine and rest, Gus healed back to his usual self and was smothering the girls with affection in no time.

Felix - the Chimera

Felix is a super rare monster species known as the chimera. Gabby and Greta didn’t know what to expect when they found him, but Felix soon proved himself to be a total goofball filled with love.

Nessie Jr - the Loch Ness Monster’s Baby

When the girls set off on vacation with their dad to discover little monsters in other countries, they first meet Nessie Jr on the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond.

The little guy's curiosity soon gets him into a sticky situation and Gabby and Greta must to work together to stop him revealing himself to the public.

Cuddles - the Yeti

On a trip to Tibet, Gabby and Greta learn about the legend of a monster who roams the mountains looking for humans to eat.

They soon discover that this scary beast is actually a loveable yet deeply lonely yeti named Cuddles who just want to be loved. The girls help the locals see the good in Cuddles and he has an entire town of friends in no time.

Jinx - the Sphinx

While on a tour inside one of the Great Pyramids Of Giza, Gabby and Greta get lost from their party. As they try to find an exit, they discover a monster long thought extinct. A sphinx!

The poor thing had been trapped inside the pyramid for centuries. Scared at first, this adorable immortal cat soon warms to them and finally finds a new home.
